Kendriya Vidyalaya, Dharwad is a civil sector school under the chairmanship of Shri Gurudatta Hegde, IAS, DC and District Magistrate, Dharwad situated on a lush green stretch of about 15 acres close to the Dharwad Kalaghatagi Road. Surrounded by hill rocks and lakes and being located far from the madding crowd. This school offers a serene atmosphere for learning. Having been established in the year 1983, the Vidyalaya is enjoying very high reputation and has now evolved into a "Three section school". Presently upto class 10th there are three sections and 1 section for XI and XII (Science ) class.
